Feeding Ministries Global is a nonprofit started by David Wedding and his wife Lisa. David Wedding started feeding the homeless people in the Drew Park area of Tampa nearly 2 years ago. He was helping so many people that he soon occupied a room at his local church Without Walls International where he eventually turned a small store room into a kitchen. Since then he has gone from feeding out of the back of his truck to feeding and providing food boxes to over 500 people a week. The small store room kitchen and 20 by 16 pantry room was packed to the ceiling with provisions for the community. Do not despise humble beginnings, they are the building blocks of greatness. Now we have moved to a 5500 square foot warehouse on Channel side drive and look forward to our enlarging our commitment to community outreach and food security.
